Assessment comes first. If the standard package does not fit, JXL will explain why and provide a separate scope. No extra work is added without agreement.

A controlled upgrade sequence

Baseline and recovery
Record the current site, access and agreed checks. Confirm a recovery route before changing the site.

Supported updates
Update components in a tested sequence. Staging is used where the site or change warrants it.

PHP compatibility
Test a currently supported PHP branch after the application updates, then correct or scope any compatibility issue.

Release and evidence
Check the agreed functions, retain a defined rollback point and provide a completion note.

Common questions

Does every site qualify for A$249?

No. The package is for an assessed standard site. An old custom build, abandoned software, an active infection or a complex store may need more work.

Is the newest PHP version always the target?

The target is a currently supported PHP version that works correctly with the site. A higher version number is not useful if an unsupported component breaks the website.

Can you guarantee zero downtime?

No blanket zero-downtime promise is made. The release method and expected effect are agreed for the site, with rollback available where appropriate.
